Brazilian Aerospace Manufacturer Embraer Pursues Commercial and Military Growth in India
Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is increasing its efforts to grow within India's rapidly expanding aviation market by pursuing commercial and military partnerships. According to vice president Rodrigo Silva e Souza, the company partnered with Adani Defence & Aerospace to potentially assemble the E175 commercial aircraft locally. Additionally, Embraer and the Mahindra Group are planning a production ecosystem for the C-390 Millennium transport aircraft. Embraer also agreed to acquire a majority stake in NAL, though final assembly plans depend on Indian government procurement commitments.
