Indian Businessman Celebrates Daughter's Wedding By Building Homes For Poor
Ajay Munot, an Indian businessman who trades wheat and cloth, chose to bypass traditional wedding expenses by building ninety homes for homeless individuals as a gift for his daughter's wedding. Constructed on two acres of land, each 12-by-20-foot residence includes two windows, two doors, electricity fittings, and paint. Munot personally selected the recipients who would receive the dwellings. Local media reported that Munot's daughter expressed complete support for the gesture, calling it the greatest wedding present she could receive.
