Emirati Women and Ambassadors' Spouses Experience Traditional Saree Draping in Abu Dhabi
A cultural event titled "Six Yards of India - The Saree Story" was recently held at the UAE General Women's Union headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Organized in collaboration with the Diplomatic Group of Ambassadors' Spouses and the Indian Embassy, the program aimed to promote cultural exchange. Attendees watched presentations by Indian Women in Dubai founder Reema Mahajan and designer Kaushik Velendra, sampled Indian cuisine, and participated in hands-on saree draping activities.
